Well, here is my attempt at a blog.
The main reason for this blog is my fundraising. My mother has had multiple sclerosis ever since I was 10 years old. A few years ago, her condition exacerbated and left her disabled. Since then, my father has developed peripheral neuropathy, and my grandmother has developed an advanced case of Alzheimer's disease. Multiple sclerosis, peripheral neuropathy, and possibly Alzheimer's disease, are all autoimmune diseases. I have chosen to run as a means of raising funds and awareness to support the American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association (AARDA).
I'm not perfect, and I don't have all of the answers. But that's pacifying to me, as it makes my task simple. I will do my best to contribute to some semblance of balance, awareness, and positivity. If everyone did that, it would make a positive change in the world. If everybody tried to be better than everyone else in the world, we'd have mass chaos. My most productive days are not when I am looking at someone else, or even at myself, but at the world around me, doing the best I can to experience life.
